Sally and her daughter, Terry Vinson, were realtors in Omaha, Neb., and they started working in Yankton in

Sally said she loves Yankton and has been pleasantly
surprised by the quality of home décor items that can be

“Our home is filled with items I’ve collected over the
years from all over, but all the furniture was bought
locally at either Hatch or Slumberland,” she said.

One of the unique obsessions found in Sally’s and David’s home is “pretend” food.
“I love pretend food. I use it a lot in staging but also in my own home,” Sally said. I think it adds a personal feeling, like someone was
just here baking or drinking a cup of coffee.”
